Words will never be enough to describe our dear friend Greg or what he meant to me. As for many others Greg, you started out as my work colleague, but virtually immediately became my friend, and what a dear and great friend you were! We shared laughter and tears, there were joyous times and frustrations but we always managed to find something to smile about. Your professionalism and knowledge as well as your humour made everyone who met you, respect and admire you, and all our lives have been enriched for having had you play a part in them. You will always be in my thoughts my dear, dear friend, I will remember your stories fondly and miss you daily.. until we meet again.. xxxx

So it has taken me a while to think of what to say.. so many memories and thoughts - all happy - to process. Not withstanding you were my best buddy and "go to" person at work, I just wanted to say thank you for sharing all your stories, your immense depth of knowledge on everything, the laughs, your shoulder and your ear whenever I needed them. Greg you were the friend everybody hopes to have in their lives and thank you for choosing me and my family to be your friends - it was an honour to have known you. We miss you Mr M xx

Greg was my boss who became my friend. It will be 10 years almost to the day, after Greg and I first met in a small meeting room at DWF's offices in Manchester, when I must say my final farewell. Little did I know at that first meeting where 10 years would take us both. My life has changed immeasurably within that time often with the quiet ear, steadfast guidance but always unwavering support of a great man, Greg. You will always be remembered and I am sure often missed Greg. Thank you and rest well my friend.
